Meet Louisa Jewell

As a leading authority and renowned speaker on the science of well-being & human thriving, Louisa Jewell has made significant contributions to the field in Canada. In 2012, she established the Canadian Positive Psychology Association ( to bridge the gap between well-being research & its practical application, and she continues to be a strong advocate for well-being for all Canadians.

Jewell’s expertise is widely recognized, and she is the host of The Awesome Project, a new Audible Originals Podcast series that debuted in June 2021. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied with the field’s founder, Dr. Martin Seligman.

Jewell’s work in educating individuals and practitioners across the globe on the neuroscience of resilience has earned her a reputation as a well-being expert.
