Meet Louisa Jewell

As a leading authority and renowned speaker on the science of well-being & human thriving, Louisa Jewell has made significant contributions to the field in Canada. In 2012, she established the Canadian Positive Psychology Association (cppa.ca) to bridge the gap between well-being research & its practical application, and she continues to be a strong advocate for well-being for all Canadians.

Jewell’s expertise is widely recognized, and she is the host of The Awesome Project, a new Audible Originals Podcast series that debuted in June 2021. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied with the field’s founder, Dr. Martin Seligman.
